Pilot Activity in Greece: Nature Engineers – Becoming Environmental Scientists

Students of the 8th Primary School of Serres participated in an inspiring pilot activity using the Nature Engineers game. The activity aimed to help children step into the shoes of real environmental scientists, exploring how their decisions influence nature and how ecosystems respond to human actions.

The class visited a nearby park to play the game in a real outdoor setting. Being surrounded by nature allowed the students to observe environmental elements directly and better understand the outcomes of their choices in the game. They experimented, tested ideas, and learned through hands-on experience.

According to the teacher, the children enjoyed every minute of the activity, and the game worked flawlessly. The students were fully engaged, curious, and excited to explore the natural world around them.

The pilot demonstrates that Nature Engineers effectively develops problem-solving skills, observation abilities, and environmental awareness — all while providing a joyful and memorable learning experience.
