The concrete goals we want to achieve with this project are as follows:

  1. Teachers should have knowledge about the games and activities that can be played in the natural environment and be able to apply them
  2. Teachers learn and apply creative methods to increase children’s connection with nature
  3. Teachers’ awareness of health problems such as screen addiction and physical inactivity
  4. Teachers’ development of new learning methods using the natural environment to develop key competencies
  5. To support innovation in school and encourage students’ creativity

These targets have been designed in line with the key priorities set by the European Commission.

  • The project aims to raise awareness of children and young people about the problem of screen addiction and to reduce this addiction. In line with this goal, teachers will have information about the games and activities that can be played in natural environments and will share them with their students. Thus, students’ dependency on screens will decrease and their physical activities will increase.
  • The project promotes the development of students’ key competences. In line with this goal, teachers will increase students’ learning skills and creativity by developing new learning methods using the natural environment.
  • The project promotes green practices that address sustainability and environmental issues. In line with this goal, teachers will emphasize the importance of being in touch with nature and will help students to gain awareness about nature conservation.
  • The project aims to encourage students’ creativity. In line with this goal, teachers will help students develop their imaginations by using natural environments and organize creative activities.
  • The project aims to support innovation in school. In line with this goal, teachers will help students think differently and creatively by developing new learning methods and games, and enable students to take a more active role in the learning process.
  • The project aims to strengthen the European identity. In line with this goal, teachers will introduce different European cultures and increase students’ awareness of cultural diversity and European citizenship. In addition, students will come together with students from different European countries and have cultural interaction.
