As part of the project, four main mobilities will be implemented in four different countries.
Play in Nature: A Journey of Discovery
The first 5-days mobility will take place in Hungary in the summer of 2024. The primary aim of the first event is to bring our team together and share comprehensive details about the project’s goals and planned activities. Additionally, we focus on raising awareness about screen addiction and enhancing children’s learning processes through nature-based activities. This event will form the basis of the project and play an important role in guiding the planning of other events. It will also provide an opportunity for communication and cooperation between participants from different cultures.
Screen Detox: Creative Art Events
This five-day event in Turkey provides teachers with a program to combat screen addiction and enhance their connection with students through creative arts. Participants will be introduced to the program, materials, and the importance of addressing screen addiction. They will engage in creative art activities, tour painting exhibitions, and work on art projects that can be implemented with students.
Mathematics in the Natural Environment
This five-day activity in Greece emphasizes the importance of learning mathematics in natural settings and aims to provide teachers with practical ideas and methods. The program includes theoretical and practical sessions on math activities during trekking, hands-on work with natural materials for arithmetic and geometry, learning measurement units, data collection, problem solving, and exploring fractions and proportions in nature. The final day combines mathematics with art and games. Each day concludes with evaluations and feedback. The activity supports priorities such as fostering a love of nature, enhancing creativity, problem-solving skills, and promoting a European identity alongside learning mathematics.
Sustainable Living: Steps Forward in Nature
This five-day activity aims to teach teachers a nature-integrated lifestyle and sustainability concepts, including practical skills in conservation, recycling, and project design, through a structured program involving presentations, exploration activities, and workshops, ultimately empowering them to raise student awareness on sustainability issues.
These activitis will directly contribute to the project objectives.
- Combating screen addiction
- Developing key competencies
- Green practices
- Supporting innovation at school
The project will create an eTwinning platform led by the Romanian partner, develop game-based educational methods, and produce various digital presentations.
